Case study
The case
Mi Inventario, built together with Gerardo Canto, is a full inventory-control platform: categories with customizable fields, stock-movement (kardex) tracking for inflows and outflows, cost reports exportable to PDF and Excel, support for multiple warehouses and locations, and item photos. Unlike most Brentec projects, it isn't an internal system for a single client — it shipped as a product on the App Store and Play Store, with its own site at inventariomx.com. That difference reshaped the design problem: instead of modeling one client's business, Rafael had to design categories and custom fields flexible enough that any business — from a warehouse to a retail store — could adapt the stock-tracking flow to its own operation without touching code. The project includes AI integration within the platform, in line with the rest of Brentec's more recent catalog.
